Official Rules of the Advertising Campaign "SEND AND WIN A DOUBLE INVITATION TO COLDPLAY"

Period 01.03.2024 - 31.03.2024


1.1. The advertising campaign "Send and win a double invitation to Coldplay" ("Campaign") is organized and run by DHL International Romania S.R.L., a commercial company from Romania, with registered office at 169 A, Calea Floreasca, sector 1, Bucharest, Romania, with Unique Registration Code 1590678 (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer"). Participants in the Campaign are obliged to comply with the terms and conditions of the official rules of the Campaign, as mentioned below.

The Campaign will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of these Rules, which are binding on all participants. The Organiser reserves the right to amend these rules, but not before giving prior notice to the public.

Art. 2. Duration and area of the Campaign:

The period of the present Campaign will be from 01 March to 31 March 2024. The Campaign area is the national territory.

Art. 3. Right to participate:

The Campaign is organized and takes place on the entire territory of Romania, in accordance with the provisions of these Rules and is dedicated to all natural and legal person customers of DHL Romania, invited through the dedicated direct marketing campaign and who accept the terms and conditions of these Rules (hereinafter referred to as "Participants"). This Campaign is not open to DHL employees and their first degree family members (children, parents, siblings, spouse) or companies owned by them. Prizes will be awarded according to the mechanism and, if applicable, by random draw, to eligible participants, as requested by them, provided that they are the payers of the transport services performed by DHL in Romania.

Participation in this Campaign implies full, express and unequivocal knowledge and acceptance of these Rules.

Art 4. Mechanism of the Campaign

The campaign "SHIP AND WIN A DOUBLE INVITATION TO COLDPLAY" takes place in Romania during the period 01.03.- 31.03.2024 and applies only to DHL Express Romania shipments made from DHL offices and partner offices (complete list of them here: ), of export type (exports to over 220 countries and continents), with payment in Romania.

All buyers of DHL Express International services, with payment in Romania, made from DHL offices and partner offices (complete list here: ), during the period 01.03.2024 - 31.03.2024, will enter the promotion.

Art. 5. Campaign prizes and their awarding

The following prizes will be awarded within the "SHIP AND WIN A DOUBLE INVITATION TO COLDPLAY" Campaign:

  • 1 invitation consisting of 2 tickets to the Coldplay concert, which will take place in Bucharest, at the Arena National stadium, on June 12, 2024.

The value of the prize is 2,000 lei + VAT.

Accommodation and transport services to Bucharest are not covered if the winner is from another city.

Art. 6. Designation of Winners

  1. The winner will be determined by random draw from the shipment records according to DHL internal reports, based on the total number of unique AWBs per company or person made during the promotion period. The draw will take place no later than 8 April 2024. The draw will be conducted in the presence of a panel consisting of representatives of the promotion organiser and will use a specialised electronic programme. Reserves will also be drawn if the designated winner refuses to take possession of the prize. The names of the winners will be notified by email and telephone.
  2. No prize money will be awarded in this promotional campaign.
  3. The prize will be handed over to the person who made the shipment from one of the DHL offices, having the title of shipper in the specific AWB.
  4. The designated and validated winner will take possession of the prize in early June before the concert. The prize will be handed over by DHL representatives.

Art. 7. Disputes In case of potential disputes between the organizer and the participants of the Promotion, they will be settled amicably. If it is not possible to resolve disputes amicably, the parties involved will submit the dispute for resolution to the competent Romanian courts. The Organizer is entitled to take all necessary measures in case of any attempt to defraud this Campaign, the system, abuse or any other attempt that could affect its image or costs. In the event that persons are identified who have influenced or facilitated the winning of prizes, the Organizer has the right to request the prosecution of such persons, based on existing evidence.

Art.8. Liability of the organiser The inability of the winner and/or the persons legally representing him/her to take possession of the prize for various reasons exempts the Organiser from any liability. The Organizer is absolved of any liability for any damage suffered by the winner and/or by the persons legally representing him/her in connection with the prize won.

Art. 9. Campaign rules The campaign rules are available free of charge to any participant on the website, on the social networks of DHL Express Romania, or at the Organizer's headquarters in Bucharest, Calea Floreasca 169 A, building A, floor 8, or by written request sent to

Art. 10. Taxes and Fees The Organizer is obliged to bear the tax due for the income consisting of the prizes obtained by the winners as a result of this Campaign, in accordance with the provisions of the Fiscal Code, any other obligations of a fiscal nature or of any other nature, in connection with this, being the sole responsibility of the winners.

Art.11.Protection of personal data

11.1. By registering and participating in the Campaign, Participants declare that they agree with the provisions of these Rules. They may give their consent to their personal data being entered into the Organiser's database, to be processed and used by the Organiser (personally or by proxy) for purposes such as: handing out prizes to the winners, registration and validation of the winners of the promotional campaign, statistical reports on consumers, direct marketing activities such as informing the persons included in the Organizer's database by various means of communication (mail, e-mail, SMS or other means of communication permitted by law) about other actions carried out in the future by the Organizer, sending to the participant various advertising, informational materials and/or promotional items and/or samples.

11.2 We wish to assure you that the Organizer strictly complies with the legislation on the protection of personal data, namely the General Data Protection Regulation No 679/2016 and that we take all measures for the practical application of the principles of legality, transparency, minimization and security of the processing of your personal data. Your personal data processed within the Campaign are: name, surname, telephone, email, city and signature. They are processed in physical form (on the report upon receipt of the prize) and electronic form.

You have the right to request, with regard to your personal data, access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing or the right to object to processing, as well as the right to data portability. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time. Unfortunately, in such a case you will not be able to participate in the Campaign as we would not be able to identify and contact you for a possible prize.

Art.12. Force majeure For the purpose of these Rules, force majeure means any event which cannot be controlled, remedied or foreseen by the Organiser, including the impossibility of the Organiser for reasons beyond its control and the occurrence of which renders the Organiser unable to fulfil its obligations under the Rules. If a situation of force majeure prevents or delays in whole or in part the execution of the Rules and the continuation of the Campaign, the Organizer shall be exonerated from liability for the fulfilment of its obligations for the period during which this fulfilment is prevented or delayed, according to art. 1351 of the Civil Code.

If the Organizer invokes force majeure, it is obliged to inform the Raffle Participants of its existence within 5 (five) working days from the occurrence of the force majeure.
