IMPORTANT: As of 01.08.2025, the computerized system for declaring goods for import will be changed

We inform you that starting with August 1st, 2025, 12:00, the Romanian Customs Authority will introduce two new electronic systems for the declaration of goods: the National Import System (SNI) and the Temporary Warehousing and Presentation Notification System (TSD PN).

These functionalities will help simplify customs formalities and reduce waiting times, providing a more efficient and secure process for economic operators.

Considering that highly complex technical operations are required, we would like to inform you that the transition from the RCDPS system to the new SNI import system will involve a series of restrictions on goods declarations, as detailed in the document below.
