Official Rules of the Advertising Campaign "ENVIRONMENT DAY - SOCIAL MEDIA CONTEST"

ART. 1. ORGANIZER AND OFFICIAL RULES OF THE CAMPAIGN

1.1. The advertising campaign "ZIUA ZIUA MEDIULUI - CONTEST SOCIAL MEDIA" ("Campaign") is organized and run by DHL International Romania S.R.L., a Romanian trading company, with registered office at Calea Floreasca nr.169 A, sector 1, Bucharest, Romania, having the Unique Registration Code 1590678 (hereinafter referred to as "Organizer"). Participants in the Campaign are obliged to comply with the terms and conditions of the official rules and regulations of the Campaign, as mentioned below.

The Campaign will be conducted in accordance with these rules, which are binding on all participants. The Organizer reserves the right to amend these rules, but not before prior notice to the public.

Art. 2. Duration and area of the Campaign:

The running period of this Campaign will be from 4 - 8 JUNE 2025. The Campaign area is the national territory.

Art. 3. Right of participation:

The Campaign is organized and runs throughout Romania, in accordance with the provisions of this Regulation and is dedicated to all individual and legal customers DHL Romania invited through the dedicated direct marketing campaign and who accept the terms and conditions of this Regulation (hereinafter referred to as "Participants"). DHL employees, first degree members of their families (children, parents, brothers/sisters, husband/wife) or companies owned by them cannot participate in this Campaign. Prizes are awarded according to the mechanism and, where applicable, by random draw, to eligible participants, as requested by them, provided that they are the payers of the transportation services performed by DHL. Participation in this Campaign implies full, express and unequivocal knowledge and acceptance of these Rules.

Art 4. Mechanism

The campaign "ZIUA MEDIULUI - CONTEST SOCIAL MEDIA" takes place in Romania between 04.06.- 08.06.2025 and applies to all participants in the social media contest on Instagram and Facebook. Will enter the promotion all those who have given like, tag to 2 people in the post with the contest organized for the Environment Day and follow our profile.

Art. 5. Campaign prizes and their awarding

Within the "ENVIRONMENT DAY - SOCIAL MEDIA CONTEST" Campaign, two prizes will be awarded, one for Facebook participants, one for Instagram, each consisting of: - A blanket, a 2 in 1 backpack with raincoat and a cap.

Art. 6. Winners

  1. The 2 winners (one Facebook, one Instagram) will be chosen through the Comment Picker tool. Will be entered in the draw all those who have given like, tag to 2 people in the post with the contest organized for the Environment Day and follow our profile. The draw will take place on June 10, 2025. The name of the winners will also be announced in the story on our social media pages, Facebook and Instagram, as well as in the comment of the dedicated post.
  2. In this promotional campaign, it is not allowed to award cash equivalent of prizes.
  3. Following validation, the winners will take possession of the prizes within a maximum of 10 working days from the date of validation. The prizes will be sent to the winners or can be collected by them from one of DHL's offices.

Art. 7. Disputes In case of potential disputes arising between the organizer and the participants in the Promotion, they will be settled amicably. If it is not possible to resolve disputes amicably, the parties involved will submit the dispute to the competent Romanian courts. The Organizer is entitled to take all necessary measures in case of attempted fraud of this Campaign, the system, abuse or any other attempts that could affect its image or costs In case persons are identified who have influenced or facilitated the winning of prizes, the Organizer has the right to request the prosecution of those persons, based on existing evidence.

Art.8. Liability of the Organizer The inability of the winner and/or the persons legally representing him/her to take possession of the prize for various reasons exempts the Organizer from any liability. The Organizer is absolved from any liability for any damages suffered by the winner and / or persons legally representing him/her in connection with the prize won.

Art. 9. Campaign rules The rules of the campaign are available free of charge to any participant on the dhlexpress.ro website, or at the Organizer's headquarters in Bucharest, Calea Floreasca 169 A, building A, 8th floor, or by written request sent to ro_marketing@dhl.com.

Art. 10. Taxes The Organizer undertakes to bear the tax due for the income consisting of the prizes obtained by the winners as a result of this Campaign, in accordance with the provisions of the Tax Code, any other obligations of a fiscal or any other nature, in connection therewith, being the sole responsibility of the winners.

Protection of personal data

11.1 By entering and participating in the Campaign, Participants declare that they agree with the provisions of these Rules. They may agree that their personal data may be entered in the Organizer's database, processed and used by the Organizer (personally or through its authorized representative) for purposes such as: the delivery of prizes to the winners, the registration and validation of the winners of the Promotional Campaign, the preparation of statistical reports on consumers, direct marketing activities such as informing the persons included in the Organizer's database by various means of communication (post, e-mail, SMS or other means of communication permitted by law) about other actions carried out in the future by the Organizer, sending to the participant various advertising, informational materials and/or promotional items and/or samples.

11.2 We wish to assure you that the Organizer strictly complies with the personal data protection legislation, namely the General Data Protection Regulation no. 679/2016 and that we take all measures for the practical application of the principles of lawfulness, transparency, minimization and security of the processing of your personal data. Your personal data processed in the framework of the Campaign are: name, surname, telephone, city and signature. They are processed in physical form (on the report on receipt of the prize) and electronically. You have the right to ask us, with regard to personal data concerning you, for access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing or the right to object to processing, as well as the right to data portability. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. Unfortunately, in such a case you will not be able to participate in the Campaign, as we would not be able to identify you and contact you for the offer of a possible prize Art.12. Force majeure For the purposes of these Rules, force majeure means any event beyond the control, remedy or foreseeability of the Organizer, including the impossibility of the Organizer for reasons beyond its control, the occurrence of which makes it impossible for the Organizer to fulfill its obligations under the Rules. If a situation of force majeure totally or partially prevents or delays the execution of the Regulation and the continuation of the Campaign, the Organizer will be exonerated from liability for the fulfillment of its obligations for the period during which this fulfillment is prevented or delayed, according to art. 1351 of the Civil Code. The Organizer, if invoking force majeure, is obliged to inform the Participants to the Raffle of its existence within 5 (five) working days from the occurrence of the case of force majeure.
